I have an EASIMILL with Heidenhain TNC355 controller. I have an external computer running DOS 6.22 and the Industrial text editor. conected through the serial port (Com 1) to the machine RS232 port. I have tried numerous communication setups within the Industrial Text Editor and the machine controller, and there is no communication between the PC and the machine controller. I have tried using a new serial to RS232 cable, and still no response.
Can anyone help with this machine setting it up to recieve external programs.
