Here’s how I made a speaker box on the Denford ROUTER 2600 (It will also work on the 2600 Pro or Vertical Router). The original design was done in Solid Works to create a 3D assembly. Each individual ‘flat panel’ was then exported as a 2D .dxf file. Each .dxf file was then imported into Denford’s QuickCAM 2D Design software (supplied with the machine) to create the toolpaths. The optional parallel rails were used to hold a sheet of MDF and then double-sided tape used to hold down a second MDF sheet onto that. You need to use at least 20mm thick MDF, preferably 25mm or thicker, otherwise the cabinet won’t be rigid enough to get a good sound. A 6mm Solid Carbide slot cutter was used throughout. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i18c7NBuZ-w
