This course stuff at school today is very pretty & nice designs but I can't help thinking that this is not going to help kids to learn how to use hand tools.
I made things from metal with hacksaws and files, my kids made things with hacksaws & files with plastic, now it sems they make things with computers & lasers :?

No wonder there's no manual skills in the uk.

I'm making up for it now though! ;)

yeah, but I can mend them and make bits for them - will the kids today be able to do that? It doesn't appear so to me.

LaserCAM File For Keyholder

Post by WHS » Fri 02 May , 2008 16:35 pm

Hi, here is the LaserCAM file (.MCM). I think I added the holes on another cut, so you need to add them to this file if you want them. This was cut out of 3mm acrylic and line bent into shape.
