Lathe Tool Grinding Jig

Hi

I needed to make an acurate tool to cut a thread and my off-hand grinding isn't too wonderful. I looked around for a jig and found this one:

It looked good to me so I made one. Naturally, I added some "improvements".

I used alluminium because that was what came out of the scrap bin. I fabricated because I don't have a mill. I avoided pins by cutting the angle along the base piece. The tool holding block can be located in any one of three positions along the length of the base. I added a fence-plate to allow a wider range of angles to be cut.

No drawings or dimensions. This is a junk box project.
