Wanted TDS 1/1 G.B Cross slide lead screw : worn OK

Hello

The only part on my lathe that is showing any sign of wear is the screw and bronze nut on the cross slide. It still has some years of use left in it but it has just a little too much backlash. I have seen these advertised new at a higher price than I will pay.

I am seeking a geared screw as an insurance spare. My plan is to cut the thread off, leaving the gear, and convert to a ball screw.

So if you have a straight rust free cross slide screw assembly, I'd be interested. I'd like to get the handle and support bushing as well but I don't need the bronze nut. I don't care what state the thread is in. My lathe is imperial but a metric one will work OK because I will convert to an imperial ball screw.

Ideally, I'd like all the parts shown in the photo. The fully assemble parts are held onto the apron with on set screw. They are all hand fitted and individual parts not easily interchangable. As a minimum, I am seeking the geared lead screw.

I am quite happy to wait years for this item, so disregard the posting date. If you're reading this, I still want the part.
