WTS Denford 2000 Micromill, Amatrol robotic arm, Info?

Post by MrGym » Mon 20 Oct , 2008 22:14 pm

Hello guys,
My school cut the program that was used to purchase this equipment so it had to be sold. I would love to keep this, but it is over my head and after reading your forums, I just realized how dumb I am on this subject, so please be patient. Here is what I do know:
1. There is a Deford Micromill 2000
2. There is a Pegasus (Amatrol)Robotic Arm with a remote keypad
3. There is a computer, but I do not think it has a program for the mill.
4. There is a very nice wheeled cart that hold it all.
5. There are several air pressure controls and valves.
6. Another part that is maybe a parts feeder? It is to the right of the arm and has a cylinder on it? Following are some pics:

If you are not interested in purchasing them, I would be happy to know anything you can tell me about this equipment. If you are interested, I have several more pictures and I am located in Ohio. This equipment has been used very little as it was purchased with a grant, then cut from the program. It worked fine at last use.

1,300 for everything

Post by MrGym » Mon 27 Oct , 2008 3:36 am

Unfortunately, I have not gotten much accomplished on this equipment. It does still have the original tag on the mill, so I know it was made in 2001. Anyway, I would take $1,300 for everything. The cheapest used Amatrol arm that I found was $1,399 + almost 300 dollars for shipping, so hopefully you will find $1,300 for everything to be fair. I would appreciate any feedback on the price.
Thank you.
Doug
