Denford 280vs nylon spare head gears

Post by elderly » Fri 28 Jan , 2011 20:38 pm

Hi, Would anyone be interested in buying spare BVS100/105 and BVS100/108 nylon gears used in these old lathes, I am sending mine away for costing in nylon and also hard wearing steel type, the steel type could sound a bit louder, but will last longer.
If you could let me know ASAP, as the more thats purchased so the price will reduce?

They use one plastic gear in the pair to stop marks from being machined into the workfrom gear noise. If you have all-steel gears made you might suffer this.
