Arcs being generated the wrong way round

Post by Denford Admin » Thu 21 Dec , 2006 16:20 pm

We are using v1.3 of quickcam 2D and the arcs are being output the wrong way round occasionally - eg, a CW arc is being change to a CCW arc.

We have found that this problem is related to AMD64 processors storing numbers slightly differently.

It has now been fixed, and will be released shortly in v1.4 - this also goes for LaserCAM 2D.

In the meantime the problem can be fixed by turning off the option to convert lines to arcs (Menu -> Generate -> Convert Output To Arcs)
