Smooth corners in QuickCam 2D

QuickCam 2D v1.6
After drawing a poly line, is there a way to smooth (round-off, radius) the corners?

There are plans to add a corner chamfer / rounding feature. However, at the moment there is only the polyline smoothing option as shown:

NB - Once a polyline element has been given an arc value, it can be adjusted graphically by pulling the centre of the arc.

I want to just radius the corner, not change the line below it to a curve.
Smooth or round off each corner and not change the lines.

I've been able to use the "Trim" function (Ctrl-T) for the effect I wanted.
