good evening, it is a digital driver.... but things seem to have gone from not workng to dead.... ok so the back-up D-cell where removed to force a reset ad left over night. on switch on things don't look good, infact the screen reads 910 RAM PARITY : (LOW) follwed by a bunch of hex.... dont seem to...

evening alas still no banana........ checked and rechecked all parameters, the only one different ti the manual was 600, it was set to 0 rather than 3. spent some time tweaking much of 900s. will have to double check the 3phase tomorrow/weekend........ just incase it is a phaseing problem. is there ...

afternoon.... some good steps forward this moring. all 900s have been set ar per the hand parameter list. playing with the Diagnostics 453.xx bit 0 resets instantly no obviouse effect with power reset. however set bit 2 and a power reset, the DRO responds to hand movnemt of the slides. but alarm 414...

would not setting this marker put a block on the axis digits moving?

Thanks Martin, yes I was loking at it last night, and there is a voltage on the D-cells but I understnade they have been removed and replacedwhlist the machine has been off. I expect to plug it in today.... and will see then. the replacment 24V psu has arrived just in case it is needed. I'm still wa...

just to let you guys know how hings are going. we have probed the 24V power suppily and tracked a fault to a 3,3 tantilum cap with is short circiut. There my be more problems with the ICs further along the circiut, but the is power to that area. We will change the cap and follow on from there after ...

are OK...... we may be getting somewhere. none of the software solutions seem to solve the issues, but did point to hardware. we checked last week the power rails and saw 239 on the dvm for the 24V rail. now we did not check the scale and missed to point. it was on rechecking last night .239 DUH. fo...

the e-stop bit is hard Zero, and not responding to any override. as yet not been able to set 453.0 bit, the machine will not take the value. off to the lab to check more wiring.......... :cry: thanks for all you advice so far, will get it working yet!!!! than it ia time to start fixing the interact ...
