Re: Cam Wizard not specifying roughing cuts.
Max, There have been a couple of changes in the new version. Check that you have hardware render selected and the part then renders correctly. I have tried processing the file with the standard tooling and with the modified tool angle and both produce the correct roughing stratergy. Could you have c...

Re: Cam Wizard not specifying roughing cuts.
Hi Max, There apears to be an issue with the DXF DWG import in the version 1.34 that needs to be resolved. The 3D model if not being generated correctly so the profile the tool is trying to follow is incorrect. 1.33 works correctly but has a couple of other issues so I will get our software engineer...

Re: Replacement motors
What machine are you running? The router 2600 has always been a 1/4" shaft?
All the steppers are 8 wire motors then connected in either series or parallel. If the motor is driven from the drive denstep then 2 A so series connection if a 4A stepper drive parallel.

SGR is spindle go relay so lights when the spindle is running.
As martin says check the 7 segment as soon as you get a communication issue. It could be going out at that point.
The serial cable is not a standard cabel so you will not be able to buy one.

Re: Cam Wizard not specifying roughing cuts.
Hi I tried this with version 1.33.7233.57000 and it all seemed to work OK.
Other than the bar being 34mm I could not see any issues.
What Lathe do you have? Note the max parting diameter on a Turn270 is 25mm Turn 370PRO has 35mm.

Have you checked the power saving settings on your PC? Make sure the USB port does not shut down in power saving mode
Re: Triac ATC
We would have only supplied 6 or 8 station toolholders but no longer supply them for the Triac.

The communications have stopped working. Open the electrical box and check that the Denstep has power. The 7 segment display should be illuminated if not check the 24V fuse.

The small red board shown above is a USB Isolator. These have been fitted to Triacs to prevent damage to the control card in the case of the spindle flashing over to earth. If the motor has had a stall and has flashed over internally then some of the earth current will travel to earth through the US...

BT 35 is not a taper used on Denford Milling machines. The Triac and VMC have a BT30 taper.

When parting off the internal tools areclose to the diameter of the chuck and could hit the chuck jaws if they stick out from the chuck body.

Re: Spindle stalling after running
What DC voltage are you sending to the spindle motor.
The motor will run overspeed if it has become demagnetised but if you spply too high a voltage to it you will get arking on the armature and may cause permenant damage to the motor.
