Re: error message: invalid object allocation table
Updates links 4.3.2020 Do you get this when connecting to the machine ? I have seen some problems like this with earlier versions of VR milling - it seemed to be getting confused when connecting to the machine, and sending the wrong MINT (logic) file - the error is to do with the firmware version an...

You could try writing your own post processor, if the standard ones don't work.

Tracy,
Can you contact Denford's on 01484 728000
Have you tried unplugging the USB cable from the Laser, switching on the Laser and PC on, and reconnecting the USB cable. This we down load the firmware again which could be causing the problem.

Unfortunately we have no circuit diagrams for problem solving. We don't know of anyone who repairs these boards, but may be you have an electronics engineer / teacher in the Technology & Design areas who could take a look at it, as you seem to have proved, its the drive and not the stepper motor tha...

For clarification All Denford's machines (With the exception of Micromill's and Microturn's manufactured for the USA) have a BI01812GG external serial cable connection between them and their PC's. Micromill's and Microturn's have signal to signal adapter cables i.e. TD - TD, RD to RD, RTS to RTS etc...
