Tooling Suitable For Hard Metals

The item in question is the door frame component of a Yale type lock and we want to grind one of the faces down a couple of mm. We are aware that we will need to take very small bites at a time and move slowly but for a hard metal like this, what would be a suitable machine tool? Best Wishes Mark To...
