Good Day, I have a customer who has called in to say that VAC is not being supplied to the machine. She has "opened up the box"(converter) and found a blue wire that is disconnected. Is there any way to get the schematics for this machine? Can you tell me what the blue wire is for? where it goes or ...

2001 Microrouter X-axis problem
Microrouter Oct. 2001 VR Milling v2 We are having problems with the X-axis on the Microrouter. When the machine is jogged the X-axis moves very smoothly, but when running a file the X-axis stutters and moves very roughly, like it is jammed or stalling. The machine has always worked smoothly, this is...

Issues with LatheCAM and VR Turning
LatheCAM v1.11a At this time, I am using the Lathe CAM Design to generate the CNC code for the lathes. This seems to work OK. I do have to play with the file name extensions a bit. The Designer software creates an "LCD" file. Choosing the "generate G-code" option creates the "FNC" file and the VRTur...

PCI card
Miromill 2000 with a Denstep card.
The new computers only have USB ports.
Is it possible to install a PCI card with a serial port into the computer so that the computer can use the serial cable to connect to the machine?
Thanks

We were able to locate and adjust the minimum pot so that 250 RPM on the PC corresponded to 250 RPM on the spindle. However, we could not locate the Max Speed pot. Which board is this located on? We think from your wording that it is on the Spindle Drive board, but we're not sure which board this is...

1992 Triac Spindle Speed
We are running a 1992 vintage TRIAC PC 3-axis machine that, in general, we are quite happy with. Our students have been learning a great deal and the system has been quite reliable for many years. However, we recently measured the spindle speed with a non-contact tachometer and found the actual spee...

Denford Co2 Car fixture Question?
Should the "split block" be loose on the pin shaft?
The "nose block" moves left/right in the V-block, is it suppose to?
The left side of the car is a bit higher than the right, how do I get it even?
Is there a way to check the offsets?

The Feed Rate Override may be faulty and needs to be replaced, or dust has worked its way inside and is insulating the contacts, try vacuuming out around the Feed Rate pot and blowing it out with compressed air. You will need to place the machine on its back and remove the bottom access cover to do ...
