Yes, the green LED Display is on the newer NextStep and NextMove control cards. The older cards (SmartStep & DenStep) have a Red LED Display. There is no NS sticker next to the micromill 2000 on the tag. I already thought this might be the problem, and changed the machine parameters with the same result. Are you sure it is a NS machine?

You have the wrong machine selected.

In VR Milling,
Click on the SETUP tab
Select “Setup Machine Parameters”
Password denny (lower case sensitive)
Click OK
Scroll through the machines and RIGHT click on MICROMILL 2000 NS
Select “Set As Active Machine”
Click OK to close the window

Micromll 2000 Spindle Barely Turning

In Auto mode, the spindle is turning at a very low rpm, the Spindle Speed Over Ride is turned all the way to the right. In Jog mode, the slider in the Control Panel and the Spindle Speed Over Ride work fine.

Check the Feed Rate Over Ride on the front panel of the machine, make sure it is turned all the way to the right (CW).

Click and Drag the slider bar for the feed rate in the Control Panel up to increase the feed rate.

When we run the program, in the Auto mode, the spindle motor turns on but nothing moves.
Nothing moves in the Jog mode, but we can turn the spindle On.

Mirac PC (LCB3 ) Upgrade

We have Mirac PC with controller s/n E03953, dispatch 7/1991 and want to upgrade from DOS to Windows VR Turning software.
The control card does not look close to any of the images you provided. It’s kind of an L-shaped board marked LCB3.
Any thoughts?
