Hi Steve,

I'm not running them off the card or the power supply, I'm running it via USB off my laptop. Porting the cable out of the back of the black box where the existing USB cable comes. Hope that makes sense.

Exactly what I was thinking Pete. Maybe try some PC case fans with their own power to add extra cooling?

Machine has been excellent all Autumn, Winter, and Spring, but now the Summer has arrived a familiar problem has occured. The dreaded ' device driver call failed'. I have no idea why it is happening in the Summer only, but the fan in the black box is blowing cold air out so that doesn't feel too hot...

Apart from the alignment of the nuts, is there anything else I need to check when reassembling?

I have an electrician coming tomorrow. It looks like Version 5 if I'm correct? It's very difficult to tell as it was upgraded from it's original control card.

No, how do I do that? My dad just pointed out there is some dark black marks on the vents of the motor.

Now....things have got even stranger. Left the machine on for an hour or two, went back into the workshop and all of a sudden the guard lock is working????? Had a quick look and took the lock off but it doesn't look too dirty at all. I keep thinking I might need to replace the lock but then when I press the 'emergency stop' button the lock activates, which makes me think the lock is fine, just something wrong with the signals being sent, as on VR millin...
