Coolant pump upgrade

I would like to fit a high pressure coolant pump to my zeroturn so I can use a bar puller. Does anyone know the maximum power of the coolant pump motor I can fit to the lathe without having to modify the wiring. Obviously I realise I will probably have to change the overload trip for the motor.

Re: Zeroturn Fanuc homing fault

I forgot to say I have checked the switch and it appears to work ok. Where there are the two switches and the two blocks to activate the switches, I noticed that the machine goes onto the first double sided ramp where the display reads 0.1???, this is where it stops and says overtravel in Z axis. I'...

Zeroturn Fanuc homing fault

When I try to zero the Z axis on my zeroturn I get a z axis overtravel come up on the screen. The X axis zeros fine. I homed the machine and then set the zero position for the job I was doing. I then needed to change a tool so went to home the machine again (this is the position I use for my tool se...

Controlling an indexer with Fanuc Triac

I want to control a pneumatic indexer using M-codes from the Aux socket on this machine. The sequence would be signal out, indexer index to next position, signal back to machine to say indexer has indexed and then program continues. The index angle would be set on the indexer. The question is what s...

Denford Zeroturn Collet chuck spares

I need to find a new pair of seals for the chuck on my lathe. It is an air operated collet chuck which takes M673 collets. The only identification on it is SZSP42 -032-. I need a pair of seals that go between the stationary ring where the air goes in and the rotating chuck itself. I've tried Crawfor...

Does any body have a maintenance manual for the zeroturn that I could have a copy of? Or know which bits I should be lubricating?

The machine is now displaying on the monitor. When turned on it goes through it's memory checks and the says "previous boot incomplete-start using default mode" then below this it says "keyboard error" and then it restarts itself. I have got another normal keyboard plugged in to the socket in the ba...

I turned the machine on again today and the seven bit displayed showed an L. I think the monitor may not be working properly. Is it possible to plug in a normal computer monitor to check? The transformer is meant to give out 110v for the control system and this also feed to the power supply unit for...

Thanks for your help. The machine now does something. Next problem!!! When I home the machine the x axis does not read zero! The z axis does read zero and I have cleared all tool offsets and work shift offsets. X did read abot 155mm with a work shift of about 11mm. When I cleared the work shift back...

Zeroturn fanuc displays "NOT READY"

I have recently bought a Zeroturn with Fanuc control. On powering it up it wouldn't home and kept giving an axis limit overtravel alarm. On powering it up again I held down the CAN and P buttons as advised and now it gives a "not ready" message at the bottom left of the machine and nothing will move...
