After taking the macine apart I found that the drive coupling on the X axis had sheared.
I have been able to order a replacement from Denford.

Hi Guys, We are able to draw and save a drawing in Solidworks as an STL file and transfer it to VR 5 and hence to the Denford microroute, where we can cut it (most times :oops: ). 20 students have to cut 4 each. This means cutting a batch. I have managed to create an assemble with four of the wheels...

by dropping the motor down notch, and using a smaller diameter cutter ALL of the holes and features are now cut.
