Re: TOE80 Turret issue
There should be a TPR (Toolpost forward relay) & a TRR (Toolpost reverse relay) that controls the KEB Inverter. You could try shorting the output of TRR to check it works the toolpost. Yes I think everything electronically is working, it seems to be a mechanical problem. I haven't had a chance to i...

Re: TOE80 Turret issue
Not sure why the spindle would be running in reverse. It is run through a inverter drive so the phases should not effect it. Also some pumps were as the manual says & others only ran one direction depending on what is fitted. Hmm, well its a bit strange. My turret motor is also controlled from a vf...

Re: TOE80 Turret issue
Have you tried swapping the phases? Just swap 2 of the 3 motor wires over. The TOE80 is phase depenable. Thank you for your reply :) That is an interesting point you raise there. I have had a bit of confusion with the 3 phase orientation. The manual suggests that if the coolant pump is rotating in ...

Re: TOE80 Turret issue
Ok, a little more investigation has shed some light on the issue... I managed to get the machine powered up again, it appears that a loose cable in the estop loop caused the safety module to shut everything down. I still have a problem with the tool turret though. I haven't used the machine properly...

TOE80 Turret issue
Hi guys, I've had a bit of an issue with my Cyclone today. I called up a toolchange in "jog" mode, the procedure started and then for some unknown reason the machine shut down into "stopped" mode I guess the estop loop was interupted?? Anyway, the machine wouldn't start up again until I was doing so...

Re: Setting work zero
Can anyone please shed some light on this please? I have my tool offsets setup and saved, I come to start a new job, load a billet of an unmeasured length, I want to set my tools to work from the face of the billet in Z and the centreline in X. I don't want to set each tool offset again, and the mac...

Re: Setting work zero
Thanks for the reply! :) I think that is the procedure for setting the tool offsets though isn't it? say if I have all of my tool offsets set in my library, I have a program ready to go, I put in a piece of stock material, I want to be able to touch on in Z, set that point as Z zero and then run my ...

Setting work zero
Hello, I've recently purchased a Cyclone TU150U in good working order. However, it came with no manuals and the seller didn't know anything about the machine. I have downloaded some of the manuals offered in previous threads, which have been very useful, but I'm still struggling to find 1 key bit of...

Re: CYCLONE U Manual
Many thanks for the manual! I wonder if there is a programming manual available for the cyclone - dos software? I'm looking for information about how to "zero" the machines axes once I have reached the desired position in relation to the workpiece. I have already referenced the axes individually in ...

Re: Cyclone U / E manuals?
Ok, I got a couple of disks that go with the machine when I paid a deposit a couple of days ago. 1 of the disks says "Cyclone U V.1.47", which was in the machine's floppy drive, so I guess that answers the question as to what type of machine it is. I'm still hoping to find a manual for the Cyclone U...

Cyclone U / E manuals?
Hi Guys, I'm buying a cyclone, but I'm unsure of the exact model.... What are the differences between the E and the U? I'm looking for a manual for these machines. Also, what software would have been supplied with these machines? If my seller hasn't got the software, is it still available? The machi...
