QuickTURN 2D to Mach3 issues
Hi again, Just got back to working with the Mirac. Managed to process the Pawn file from QuickTURN and got a nice virtual result. In sending the G-code through to Mach3 some strange things happen! Have tried many combinations of the post processing options with the closest result attached, but still...

Microrouter (2006) No movement all three axis
I was having problems with the axis moving away from the homing switches when trying to home the machine and thought it was dirt stuck in the switches. However after cleaning the switches I have no movement at all and when the switches are depressed manually, the software registers it and reads 0 I ...

Re: Tooling Difficulties
Thanks for your reply The machine we have is a Denford Mirac converted to run from Mach 3 software. It helps to understand how the QuickTURN software works. I had been altering the tool table data with different angles and tip lengths but with little success. I will do some redrawing and add points ...

Tooling Difficulties
I'm having difficulty with quickturn processing my drawings When quickturn generates a cutting program, it is doing most of the operations with the parting off tool rather than turning tools as one would expect. I have tried re-defining the tools using different tips and angles to see if it is a pro...

Re: DXF Import Problems
Hi,
Thanks again for your reply.
Attached are a few files - two from Techsoft 2D Design and two from Solidworks (just drawn as a profile)
We would prefer to use Techsoft 2D Design to create our profiles as all the students know this software.

Re: DXF Import Problems
Thanks for your reply. I have done all of the things you suggested: Closed polylines, tried starting the polyline from different edges, exported the DXF in several different revisions. Tried importing VERY simple polyline drawings (non of which are already mirrored). The package at present doesn't s...

Re: Quick Turn Conversion Issues
Hi,
I have recently posted a similar question to yours entitled 'DXF problems'.
I am having the same sort of issues, except that the drawings are getting more corrupt.
Did you eventually get anywhere with your import solutions?

DXF Import Problems
We have recently purchased Quickturn. Every time I try to import DXF files through the wizard, the initial drawing shows up OK but then after the drawing area is selected and the wizard sends the drawing through to the main program, the drawing becomes corrupt. Even the simplest of rectangles get tu...
