Re: Get alarm when spindle is running. See picture of ladder
OK, i did actually solve the problem now. But not in a way that i expected. Because i remember i got it working sometimes before when i gave it a knock in the controlpanel box i front. So i tried to open this box and "reseat" all the connectors and modules. And after this the alarm is gone. So it mu...

Re: Get alarm when spindle is running. See picture of ladder
Yes, sure i can do that. I did plot in all the parameters and diagnostics when i got the machine. But i think the parameters i got is for a OT-C machine, but my machine is a OT-B. Does this have anything to say? Could you Martin find the correct parameters? I found the serial number on the control, ...

Re: Get alarm when spindle is running. See picture of ladder
Do anyone have any toughts here? I have not got any further with this fault. I need some help to what i can check to get this solved.
The ladder tells which signals that gives this alarm, but I dont understand it. Is this something i can disable, because everything seem to work perfect.

I found the serial number now. It stood on the machine display. The parameter 453 bit change did not work. Still the same error when spindle is running.

Aha! I tried that also but the bit just dissapeared so i thought i did not work. But if that how it supposed to be i will try to start up the machine again. I did not try to run the machine after this. The serial number i dont know as it dont say anyware on the machine or in the documentation. The o...

Get alarm when spindle is running. See picture of ladder
Got an 1988 Denford Cyclone with Fanuc 0T-B control. When im running the spindle in auto mode the spindle runs up to programmed speed but after a few seconds the control comes with this alarm. 2006 "Spindle failed to reach speed" I found the alarm in the PLC and parameters sheet but i dont quite und...

Cyclone Fanuc 0T alarm 2006; Spindle failed to reach speed
Suddenly got this problem randomly when a program is running. The spindle is running fine and at set speed. This alarm come and go often. But i tried to give the control box module a knock and it seems to work. Maybe something is loose in the control panel that effects this? Cant think of anything t...

Re: Cyclone doesn`t power up
Yes I tried to press the override switch but how does it work? Just press it and I should be able to move each axis off a limit switch? Should the button be lid when active? I will also check the aux link, do you have any idea where it is located? :) I also saw that the parameters i got in my manual...

Re: Cyclone doesn`t power up
After changing the power unit module A16B-1211-0850 with a new one the machine is now starting up :D That's good news! But now i cant do anything because i get "NOT READY" and some numbers on the start-up screen that says "0615 - 07". I can go through the menu for parameters and diagnostics. All par...

Re: Cyclone doesn`t power up
Thank you very much for the electric drawings! :D But im starting to believe that my Fanuc power unit is the problem. Im at work right now so cant do any more checks before wednesday. Any components i should be extra avare of in these units? Ive read that the varistors can get broken if a high volta...

Re: Cyclone doesn`t power up
Great!
But when i look at the pictures again i see that the 24volt pins have a D and E back of them. Does this mean DC and Earth? Because i have not tried to measure anything between the two pins, only to 0V.

Re: Cyclone doesn`t power up
Hmm now i found more test pins on the control card. There seems to be a faulty power supply on the 24v system, or is it a short somewhere? Maybe a limitswitch or something?

Re: Cyclone doesn`t power up
The 24v dc from the transformer is ok. But ive been measuring voltages in the power unit on the test points. Here are the results. 5v : 8.4v dc 24v : 45.2v dc 15v : 28.5v dc Pretty high arent they? The status now is that there is a small relay kicking in when i push the control on button. But the sc...

Re: Cyclone doesn`t power up
Okey solved one problem now! The two big connectors was plugged in wrong! They was suppose to be the other way around. Strange that the design let me do that. But anyways. Now there is power down to the electronics, but there is a red diode blinking after i press the green button for "control on". A...

Re: Cyclone doesn`t power up
Ok, ground is fixed. But still no sign for life. All lines have power in the transformator without the big 3 phase transformer as it needs the circuit breaker to kick in first. It seems like the electronics doesnt get power to turn on the system, but the 110volts is going in to the electronics cabin...

Re: Cyclone doesn`t power up
Okey, no difference when soldering the condensator.
But i found out that there is no earth connected to the 380v cable, only the 3 phases. Can this have anything to do with my problems?
