Re: Help again...
Okay yes then I'm assuming it's a faulty card. I've used mint before and it says can not detect machine. Any ideas as to where I can purchase a new card in Ontario Canada?

Machine connection issues
Hey guys. So I followed some previous advice and got a gender changer for my cable. Unfortunately it is still not working. I shot a video taking a look at the lathe. I was wondering if anyone could identify any problems? Thanks, let me know if you need anymore information. https://youtu.be/-Qvc6Kebqss

Re: Help with Microturn 2000NS (2005 2000NS)
Yes. The next step card has an output port as a 9 pin connector. The connector goes down to the side of the lathe and attatches to the 25 pin connector (As shown here)

Re: Help with Microturn 2000NS (2005 2000NS)
Yes. I'm just using male to male 25 pin serial port. Also, I'm not using the baldor control card. I'm just using the printer port that is attached to my mobo.

Okay, can someone tell me if anything appears wrong with the board? I'm using an rs232 connection. connecting to my computers printer port (25 pin). Neither Mach3 or VR turning V1.15 get a response.
