Re: REQ: Mirac leadscrew details

It turns out my Mirac is using 5mm pitch ball-screws, with 12 tooth pulley on the stepper, and 30 tooth pulley on the ball-screw, (2.5:1 ratio).

Best Regards.

REQ: Mirac leadscrew details

Hi All.

I have been reading over the user manuals for the mirac lathes, but I can't seem to find any details regarding the leadscrews.

Does anyone happen to know what leadscrews are used in the 1990 model?

Thanks for your time.

Best Regards.

Re: LatheCAM Designer - Dongle / License File

Steve, what was you able to find out? When installing LatheCAM Designer, Part of the setup talks about a Registration Disk. Please insert the registration disk if you have one. The registration disk is required only if no security key (dongle) has been supplied. To continue, click Next. I did find t...

MIRAC Ver2.25 - Memory Related Question

Good day all.

I am trying to find out details on how much conventional memory is needed to run the Mirac Ver2.25 Software.

Can the Mirac software be run in upper or extended memory at all?

Thanks for your time.

Re: QuickTURN 2D Compatibly

So your saying that QuickTURN 2D should indeed work with my MIRAC, but can't do threading. Is there any other Lathe CAM software that will work on windows 7, and also be compatible with outputting g-code that will work fully with my MIRAC? Just want to make things clear before I looking at buying an...

QuickTURN 2D Compatibly

Good day all. Is there a list anywhere that shows hardware compatibly with QuickTurn 2D? I have a 1990 denford mirac, and would like to know if QuickTurn 2D design is compatible with it. Newbie Advice - Denford Miarc, 1990 Model

Good day all. This is my 1st post here, and I am new to the denford scene. I am new to the world of cnc lathes, but I decided I would jump in with both feet. I have just brought a used Denford Miarc, 1990 Model, S/N: E03726A. The 1st thing I have done since getting the lathe back to the workshop was...
