The goal was to be able to import simple drawings dxf dwg and also to be able to make simple PCBs with Gerber import. What are the options to be able to do this? Can I upgrade to Mach3 software and will that be the right path?

Machine is circa 1990. Runs on DOS. Starmill.EXE starts on boot. Errors out with "Security Key not Connected" Dont think this is a physical key. Any help will be appreciated.
