The goal was to be able to import simple drawings dxf dwg and also to be able to make simple PCBs with Gerber import. What are the options to be able to do this? Can I upgrade to Mach3 software and will that be the right path?

ok. got this to work. there were some issues with the location of the opt file.

Starmill ATC - security key not connected
Machine is circa 1990. Runs on DOS. Starmill.EXE starts on boot. Errors out with "Security Key not Connected" Dont think this is a physical key. Any help will be appreciated. I eventually want to upgrade to VR Milling also run the software from another machine - say XP. Have been reading lots of pos...
