Thanks for the followup on this and I'll look into your suggestion of altering the CAM program to delete the G03 commands.
Merry Christmas to all at Denford!!!

Re: Step-Pause-Step-Pause Program Execution
...helicals are supported in VR Milling version 5 but I'm not so sure v2 could handle them properly. Not the answer that I'd hoped for but it is what it is...... Any thought's as to why I get a load of "Divide by Zero" error messages and mouse commands are largely ignored while the program is...

Re: Step-Pause-Step-Pause Program Execution
I tried running in "Turbo" mode this morning with no change in the step-pause-step-pause execution and I did fail to mention in the original posting that I'm running this on a MicroMill 2000 with the latest version 2 VR Milling. I also failed to mention that I get a lot of "Divide by Zero" errors an...

Step-Pause-Step-Pause Program Execution
I finally found my spindle problem (trash/corrosion on RPM signal terminal) and loaded a program for testing. Program executes but in a very unusual way. After each line of code the controller pauses for about 1/2 second then executes the next line of code. As this is going on, the DenStep's LED cyc...

Re: Which MicroMill 2000 Wiring Diagrams?
Thank you very much for posting the drawings.
The drawing series M2K-AU xx in file Micromill-2000-denstep-110v-1.pdf appears at first glance to be correct for my machine.

Re: Which MicroMill 2000 Wiring Diagrams?
Use the Micromill 2000 Denstep drawings from the attached link: https://www.denfordata.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2929 Please take a look at the photos of the electronics panel in my MicroMill 2000. Note that there are 5 relays, not 3 as in the drawings you recommended and that the spindle speed i...

Re: Which MicroMill 2000 Wiring Diagrams?
Are the attached drawings the ones I should use for my MicroMill 2000? It appears that collectively they would be correct for my machine. These drawings are from file MicroTurn-Electrical-Denstep-110v-circa2000.pdf which I found at: https://www.denfordata.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2929 Based on ot...

Which MicroMill 2000 Wiring Diagrams?
I cannot find a set of wiring diagrams that match the MicroMill 2000 I have. Would someone point me in the right direction...... Thanks in advance, Orin Here are photos of the data plate, electronics panel, and close-ups of the 5 relays and controller. Speed controller appears to be a KB Electronics.

Thank you very much for confirming the encoder data and also the note regarding the mint (.mnt) file.Denford Admin wrote:Yes that all looks correct to me.
If the line count is a problem you can always alter the mint (.mnt) file to suit

Microturn Spindle Encoder
While I'd love to have an original Denford encoder, cost of a new one for my "hobby" machine is simply out of reach and fitting a "hobby" priced encoder is my only option. After a load of reading on the board I think I have enough information to get started. Do I have the following correct? Spindle ...

Re: RS232 Machine Link Cable 9 - 25Way BI01812GG
The External Machine link Cable part number is BI01812GG This cable was manufactured by Lindy and is black in colour. The cable was used on all machines (other than the MicroMill and MicroTurn supplied in the USA) <SNIP> Would you please post a drawing of the cable used in the USA and also one of t...
