Hi

Has anyone changed the spindle motor on a MicroRouter? At present I have the original Porter-Cable 3102 HD laminate trimmer unit rated at 120v-4A.

Just looking for something a bit quieter if anyone has any suggestions.

Hi How can i separate the bearings from the carriage, if I could then that may eliminate any idea that the slide rails are not running parallel to each other. Well the carriage is disconnected from the leadscrews so I guess that eliminates the drive belt unless I am missing something.

I am moving the carriage by hand and it is very stiff to the LHS so I guess the slide rails are a fraction out?

Any tips on getting a 170kg Novamill into a hatchback.

It will physically fit (just about)) but can it be stripped down at all to make lifting it in a little bit easier?
