I wonder if i have something wrong with the data for the tool as when it cuts from the inside out its not really cutting more like shredding the material with lots off vibration. If i were manually milling this i would go from the outside to thr inside.

Hi, I was just maching a item that steps up in size twice then goes to a large diameter and the finishing cuts start on the smallest diameter and works towards the large diameter. Hi, just had the same symtums. took it apart to work out if it was the motor or gear that was defective and found the gearbox was just jamed / tight, i operated it with a large flat srewdriver and its now all ok

hi, Is it possible to draw the part inside the billet i.e. start the line at z:-15mm? it seems to allways start from z: 0
I have a 2 op job that i want to turn around in the chuck and i want to face off the material that was in the chuck and then do some boring.
