In my experience, the chips controlling the keyboard used to fail causing this message. You could try unplugging the 2 connec...

TRIAC for sale
I am selling an old Triac mill, The machine is in good condition, with one exception, there is a problem with the control panel "button pressed 55 keeps appearing", it should be an easy fix for some one who knows what they are doing, or would make a great basis for conversion to MAC 3 etc, it comes ...

Re: Info required on programming arcs & circles, & software
Hi Bob I have a Triac 1988 and have been reading most of your posts. You can programme at the machine and save it to tape, but if you can find a tape that fits, the player will probably be broken. Much better to connect an old PC (older the better!) with the cable. The most reliable programme to get...

Re: Info required on programming arcs & circles, & software
You should be able to use a free 2D CAD package to redraw the shapes from what you have been given (just type "free 2d cad" into google!) Then you will be able to find out information about arc start point, end point, radius, centre etc.. from the CAD system quite easily. It's also worth mentioning...

Info required on programming arcs & circles, & software
Hi When I have my Triac back up & running I intend to make a number of parts out of 16 & 14g mild steel sheet, the drawings for these parts show the arc/circle centre co-ordinates & radii but not the start or end points of the arcs, on a number of parts 2 or more arcs of different radii blend into e...

Re: Denford Triac 1985
How difficult would the conversion you plan be ?, & how much would it cost, my funds are very limited at the moment so a repair of the current panel is probably my only option untill such a time as I have the funds to upgrade it.

Re: BUTTON 55 PRESSED ?
Can you tell by pressing the other buttons which one it is? No, nothing appears to happen when I press the buttons, even the drive power light does not come on, it has not had a chance to get wet nor was it bounced around in the van when I picked it up from the college, its a complete mistery as to...

I have recently bought an old Triac cnc mill which appears to have had little use, when I bought it, it appeared to work OK however the other day when I turned it on the message button 55 pressed "or pressed button 55" appeared on the screens & now I can't get it to do anything, I have tried pressin...
