X axis nuts are Warner Electric series RM type 2025 UF, attached in their carriers to the saddle by 2 capscrews each end.
I haven't looked to find replacements.

Re: Easimill 12075 built October 1985 ... the rebuild.
I hope that this story of my conversion of a 415v 3 phase belt drive head Denford Easimill built in 1985 will be of assistance to others who are contemplating or engaged in a similar project. The object of this project was to operate the Easimill from a remote computer, running motion control softwa...

I forgot to mention that the magnetic panel enclosure, flood coolant and mist coolant were taken off at that time.

Re: Easimill 12075 built October 1985 ... the rebuild.
The Easimill is a Denford conversion of a Taiwanese made T1P manual milling machine which they marketed as a "Viceroy", a manual for that version can be found here: https://www.denfordata.com/pdfs/T1P-Turret-Milling-Machine.pdf With some bits deleted or chopped off, the replacement of the acme leads...

Re: EasiMill backlash adjustment
As you say Ian, what else is there out there? I bought a manual Bridgeport, may be 6 or 7 years ago from a slide way grinding Company in Colsterworth, Ebay £187, complete, with all the slides reground, but in bits. I thought about converting it to CNC but a machine of that size really wants servo ra...

Re: EasiMill backlash adjustment
Hello Ian. I am in the middle of a refurbishment of this Easimill, the base, column and knee were painted yesterday and it's a hobby rather than a job. I'll take some pictures tomorrow of the X axis twin ballscrew and nut arrangement. Anything else on this machine you would like a photo or details o...

Re: EasiMill backlash adjustment
Here are 3 photographs of the Y axis ball screw and nuts. The nuts are by Warner Electric, the front (pulley) end being RM 2505 UF, the rear one is RM 2505 A. They are non-adjustable, have no pre-load and (sadly) no wipers.

Re: EASIMILL SPINDLE MOTOR.
No, no inverter fitted to this belt drive head machine. I suppose all speed changes were done manually.

EASIMILL SPINDLE MOTOR.
I am in the process of converting a 1985 415v 3 phase belt drive head Easimill and I would like to know if the spindle motors supplied with those machines was dual-voltage, as it's my intention to drive it via an inverter.
TIA,
H.

Re: Denford easiturn
I re-used the 55v psu and fitted Gecko 203v drivers, 2 Homan breakout boards, kept the inductive proximity home switches, (Alan Henderson at Irridian supplied a small board for these), fitted a 2nd parallel port to my PC, and an Emerson VFD, "controlled" by a Homan digispeed. When I can afford a rou...

Re: Easiturn 3 display, auto tool changer and PNC3 connectors...
Thank you Martin, I had another look this morning and found the correct pot to adjust the bottom line position. For other users, it's VR3 right under the CRT at the back of the board and is conveniently labelled "Bot Ln". Moving on, there is yet another 15 pin female socket, just above the lo...

Hello! I'm hoping that someone out there can help me with a 3 problems. Model: ET 04045B, May 1985, Serial number of control 3256. 1) The bottom line and flashing cursor on the VDU are partly obscured by the bottom edge of the casing. Is there some means of "shrinking" the display so that the bottom...

Easiturn 3 Wanted.
Hello !
I'm looking for an Easiturn3 fitted with the 8 station toolholder. Mechanical condition is important, the electronics less so.
If any of you good folk have one for sale, or know where there is one, would you please let me know.
Regards all round,
John.
