Cable connection to old triac with ATC
Can someone tell me the cable connection for my triac machine. The machine has the round 7 pin din and the computer connection is RS232 25pin. I have tried the connection using just the 2 wires shown on the denford wiring site with no luck. I have the manual which shows more connection by cannot see...

Cheers Martin, I thought it would cost me more dosh, its a true fanuc control and the motor drive characteristics are different from the 240v version. So it looks like a digital phase converter, any prefered type.

Hi I have purchased a triac which is 415v 3 phase. It comes with all the transformers etc, can I run it on 240v without the box of electrics or will I have to buy a 3 phase converter to run it off a 240 volt household supply.

I have an old 1988 triac, I have tried to connect the machine to a computer with no success. I made up a cable as described in the manual, unfortunatly the connections to the 7 pin din and the computer comms port don't appear to work. It may be coincedence but the y drive fused last time I tried. Ha...

Denford Triac with ATC
Want to take of the Automatic Tool Changer and the Pnumatics off my Triac mill. How do I get past the start up datum procedure. At present the ATC needs to be part of the start up sequence. A signal goes to the Main board electronics that the ATC is ready before the slides start datuming. Jim the Fish

Triac conversion
Hi friends. I have looked at all your suggestions and it appears the Geckos and Mach 3 seems the best way to go. Where do I get them from and how much will it cost to do the complete conversion.

Need a good repairer for my Y axis drive card, it not working, had it repaired 12 months ago but failed again. Fuses blow everytime I switch it on. Even with the plug to the motors disconnected.
