its the x axis. backlash is fine. would not tightening the gib strip increase the chance of stalling?? extra stress on motor?? how do i know which is the z drive. my electrical is skill is minimal. how do i check the current? feedrate max is 1000 but this program is cutting at 150- rapid 1000. cheer...

the Shortest Contour is set at 0. eprom is mint 2.1. cant understand why its fine when not using turbo. even in simple bigger moves it loses posistion. the battery in my eurostep card has been removed due to corrosion could this be the answer- no damage was done to the card though. will post pic asa...

problem with turbo mode
when i run an engraving program with turbo mode activated posistion of the letters are not in line. running the same program with turbo mode deactivated its fine??? why?? what can i do to make it run under turbo mode and still get the accuracy??

how can i reduce pauses between programme lines
is it possible to reduce the slight dwell between programm lines while machining? i am using vr milling 2.3 on a triac pc (2000)

checked card in and ribbon cable
i have checked the cards are seated and ribbon cables are attached properly. i have swapped over the wires to the y axis with the x. the x then works fine. so its not the card as i have swapped the Y axis card with the x and it still does not work, its not the motor, its not the pcb board as i have ...

i just fool the machine into thinkin its datumed it does not actually move. the motor does not turn- checked the fuses- on card and main board. no problem- even swapped the axis card with one i know works- still nothing. vr milling shows it moving in x axis but it does not. dont know how to check th...
