Hi, is anyone making the small 2 ball tailstock lock handle for the Viceroy TDS 1/1 GBS lathe or is there a drawing so I can make one myself.
Thanks

ScreenHunter_80 Sep. 25 13.51.jpg Hi all, I have a Starturn 4 July 1990 Electrics 390101 this was an ebay buy, the electrics had been removed ready for conversion but as many had not been completed. I have sorted most of it, I have put new stepper drives in and a new breakout board ready for Mach3 ...

Re: The buttons along the bottom ofthe Fanuc screen
They are Fanuc options, if you have the original parameter list check it against the settings in the control.

Did Starturn 4's circa 1990 have a choke?
Did Starturn 4's circa 1990 have a choke? I have a machine that has no choke and I can not find a matching drawing for it. It has a green Control Techniques ASP-5 spindle board and what I think is an opto isolation 0-10V card. Can anyone shed light on this and should there be a choke. There is also ...

Re: AC2/106 Spacer Drawing
Hi Steve,
It looks like part numbers AC2 105A, 110 and 111 are also missing do you have these or drawings for them.
Thanks

Re: Alphacam post for Denford Cyclone
I will work as long as you do not use the canned cycles in Alphacam, The 6T post is single line canned cycles, the 0i,15 18i and 21i are all 2 line canned cycles unless you have the F15 option installed in the control.

AC2/106 Spacer Drawing
Hi,
I have been helping a friend rebuild a basket case Cyclone and the spindle spacer is missing AC.2/106
Is it possible to buy one of these or is there a drawing available so we can make one.
Thanks
Graham

The Fanuc 15,18 or 21 post should work fine.

Triac ATC
Has Denford ever made or designed a larger capacity tool changer for the Triac with the BT30 spindle, a 16 tool maybe?

Re: TU150U in need of TLC
Here is a picture of the external tool coolant nozzle.
The only issue I had was it firing coolant down the spindle bore so I have a plastic bung in the back end now.
The lathe is working great and I am happy with how its turned out.

Re: TU150U in need of TLC
Its just a flat spacer plate with 4 hole to mount it to the cross slide and the holes for the turret and a slot and 2 grub screws for the rear cover. See picture from before its clean up.

Re: TU150U in need of TLC
Not posted for a while so here are some pictures of the new tool holders and the through coolant modification I decided to add, all the parts have been made on my Triac and the TU150. I also modified the 3 original tool blocks that came with the machine. Here is a link to the machine making the smal...

Re: 4th axis for mill
If you are engraving on the centre line you can use a direct drive, but once you move from centre the cutting force is multiplied by the distance from centre so you need a proper worm and wheel type. The cutting loads with drilling and milling is far too great for any other type. There are some nice...
