Two major advantages to note are that PCB Gerber and DWG or DXF files can be loaded directly, and an offset toolpath created quickly and easily.
NB, the document says V5 can buffer 50 move blocks, but it is actually 250 moves, meaning that combined with the USB connection, the card is never 'starved' of data when creating 3D prototypes and picture lithophanes quickly. This results in smooth, stall-free running of the steppers at high speed.
