QuickCAM 3D V3.2

Post by RonShealer » Fri 02 Nov , 2007 20:07 pm

I have QuickCAM 3D V3.2. Will this work ok for milling out a CO2 dragster? I will use Inventor for drawing and save as an STL. Looks like it will pull the inventor drawings right in, just didn't turn on the Denford Router yet.

Thanks

The current version is 3.7

You can dowload the new version from,

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

It will only import STL files, and I would recommend getting the latest version as we have had past issues with different versions of ASCII and binary STL formats.

Ron,

First get the latest version. :!: :!: Then go to help and tutorials.

There is a F1 R6 US tutorial that will take you through CAM and Manufacture. There is also a section on design using ProDesktop but just follow the tutorial from the stage where you save the STL file.

There is also an advanced guide you can read. :D
