4th axis rotation

Post by RowanC » Mon 07 Mar , 2022 23:36 pm

Thanks to all the previous help I have the 4th axis working in our Compact Pro 1000. Just wondering the direction of rotation on the chuck is counter clockwise but the angular scale on the chuck works clockwise. This means when you rotate to A090 the scale reads 270 and vice versa for 270 > 90

Is there an easy way to reverse the direction of the stepper motor so that direction of rotation and the scale align?

To change direction of the stepper motor you need to invert one of the phases to the motor. It`s normally easier to change them on the stepper drive in the electrical cabinet.
