Dead Motor Driver?!?

Post by RowanC » Thu 03 Mar , 2022 5:47 am

Hi,

I have acquired a Turn 270 and it seems the Baldor motor driver is dead. There is 240V going in and I get a signal feed in the analogue side but no display on the front and therefore no spin on the chuck. Is there any other tests I can do on the VS1ST unit to check or am I better off replacing it and if so what is the replacement now (preferably something I can buy in Australia.

Thanks Rowan.

it sounds like you have done all the checks can.

We now fit a OPTIDRIVE E3 1.5Kw drive to the Turn270's.

It is made by Invertek Drives.com

If you need the drive parameters let us know.

Thanks Martin - if you don't mind posting the parameters that would be great.

Can you confirm that this is the right model below? I'll get one ordered today as we have a local agent for Invertek in town it seems.
