Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

Which machine and software have you ?
Is the machine physically moving to the home switches and backing off slightly ?
Both vrmilling v2 and v5 have help files showing how to set the work offsets so that the machine datum is in the correct place.

If it's a true Fanuc control then power up with "P" & "Can" pressed.
