Denford model Triac serial EO 3995 battery change

I am about to change the bios/cmos-battery on the pc. Are there any special precaution/procedyre around this batterychange ?

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

Our service guy says that there is nothing to it if its a DOS machine with a PC box in the cabinet
In this case, it will just need powering off, change the battery, power back on and reset the time and possibly the floppy disk drive type in the BIOS.

If its a rack card PC board, then it would be a bit more involved.
