Software required for denford mini mill and lathe?

Post by wbsmithii » Wed 12 Aug , 2015 6:12 am

I have purchased a scanmill/scantek 2000 and a microturn 2000 on a surplus gov website for some technology classes I teach in a local tech school and I need to know which software is required to run it and do you offer educational use discounts and where can I purchase it as well?

Thanks for your time.

You will need to get the info off the label on the units or better still open the back cover up and pics of the control boards and the eprom. 32pin chip with a label on it with something like ver 2.02 printed on it.

The lathe will need VR Turning and the Mill VR Milling. The machines are designed for educational use and would have been supplied with a licence of software to the original customer.

Software can be purchased from Denford. As TDI Power says a photo of the serial number label and electronics would help

If supplied after 2000 they would use VR Milling and Turning, before then it could have been DOS.
