Quickcam 2d and adding new fonts

Post by Stickyshocker » Tue 07 Jul , 2015 21:45 pm

Hi all

Could anyone tell me how to add new fonts for the software please. Have been using the simplex font a lot but would like some more in the style.

Regards

From the Menu displaying fonts select fonts and then follow the following procedure.

Any font on your computer can be added.

The new fonts will only appear in the menu once you have closed down QuickCAM then restart it again.

If you don't have the latest QuickCAM 2D the procedure is the same in the older version from the fonts menu, but you could download the new version as your licence key will work just the same.

The V-Carve and Tabs functions would just be disabled.

Font Styles.
Add.
Load Font.
Select the font from the list
OK
Save
Exit.

Restart QuickCAM

When I click save, nothing happens...

The help function doesn't work either.

Are you trying to load a True Type font?

Do you have admin rights on the PC?

This does work on my PC.

Have you downloaded the latest version?

Yeah, it's a true type font.
I do have the newest version of quick cam. I'll try to run the software as an administrator. I am doing this on a school computer so it is locked down.
