( with the original keyboard i get message :

Invalid configuration information-please run SETUP program.
Strike the F1 key to continue.

The original keyboard is not responding at all.

When I use an other external keyboard, I am able to get into bios that tells me that bios time is lost. when I set up new time and year and continue i get following errors :

every time I reboot (even with power on) the bios clock setting is "lost"
I belive also the PC in this machine have no Harddrive.
I have no experience with this machinetype.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

Sounds like an old DSP rack-computer, and the CMOS battery has failed

Have a look at this to see if its like the hardware you have:

viewtopic.php?t=349

other information in the rack PC's from this forum:
The euro PC card was from a company called DSP Design Ltd in Chesterfield: www.dspdesign.com
and
ASRS Cyclone Tu150 DSP SETUP
CMOS SET-UP
(Rack type p.c's)

If the p.c. is left with power disconnected for a long period of time, the on board battery may become drained.
This results in the p.c. suffering a "loss of memory".
To re-establish settings use the following procedure.

Turn on computer.
When screen displays:
Starting MS DOS.......
Depress Ctrl+Alt+S keys simultaneously to invoke the set-up procedure.
A menu will now appear in the centre of the screen giving set-up options i.e.;
Setup
Extended BIOS Features
System Information
System Security

Using the cursor keys highlight the option "setup", and press return.
Screen will display certain values.
Adjust values to 3-1/2" floppy drive 1.44 M then press F10.
A dialogue box appears to confirm that the changes have been saved.
Press Esc twice to exit setup.
The p.c. will now reboot.
Hope this helps,
post some photos if I've got the wrong end of the stick

sounds more like a normal pc that we stripped the casing off. Def not a DSP. Sugest you try to fit a new BIOS battery & try again.
