Tool specs/sizes DXF Quickturn FANUCSLD

Post by TDIPower » Fri 02 Jan , 2015 0:57 am

Working my way closer to getting my Starturn 5 running under FANUCSLD doing what I want.

I am still looking to get Quickturn but was wondering about the drawing/specs for the tools.

I came across a program called DXF_TEXT for the FANUCSLD (I dloaded it from the Denford site), it says it will convert a DXF file of a tool into the required data for FANUCSLD to be able to use. Has anyone got any experience of this?

What I want to know is would it be possible to extract the tool drawing information from Quickturn so I can put it into the FANUCSLD.

Cheers Pete
