Text/ buttons are not shown or pushed out of the window

In some software, for instance the Control Panel in VR Milling, it is possible for some of the text in the window or buttons to be not shown because they are pushed off the borders of the window. For instance:

This is because Window's DPI setting will be a value greater than 100 %. The text is increased in size and any components are moved to compensate, but the windows themselves are not resized.

To resolve this in Windows XP, right click on the desktop and select Properties from the following menu. Next choose the Settings tab and then click the Advanced button. On the next screen, set the resolution to be 100%.

To resolve the issue on Windows 8, rightclick on the desktop. Select Screen Resolution from the drop-down menu.

Select 'Make text and other items larger or smaller'.

Select the text box marked Smaller - 100%.
