Setup for NovaMill and NovaTurn

Post by markdacosta » Mon 01 Nov , 2010 18:10 pm

Hello all,
I have recently aquired a Denford NovaMill and NovaTurn.
I have downloaded the windows software onto an XP pc and have the dongles for LatheCam and MillCam.
I understand that you must run another program in dos to get these tools to work...
flstep.exe?
Can i get some advices from you guys?
the software is 2.96 on the novamill and 4.2 on the novaturn

Many Thanks,
Mark

Sorry to be vague, but I've never run this stuff - I believe it'll run in XP although you may have more success by creating a virtual PC with DOS on it or using something like DOSbox.
It used to boot off a floppy disk which contained a few files including some setup files to do with how the machine was connected and whether a tutor keypad was used. Have a good read around the forum for clues - all this has been gone over a various points in the past:
