When you buy Virtual Wind Tunnel you will get a Temporary Licence code to use for a 2 month Period while you Register the Software with CHAM and then get a permenant Licence.

The software licence is registered to the PC and you must complete the Registration form and send it off as soon as you have installed the software otherwise you will be unable to use the software after a 2 month Period.

The manual and Instructions supplied with the software detail the registration procedure.

Here are the instructions relating to registering Virtual Wind Tunnel.

Enclosed is a copy of PHOENICS F1 VWT. Please follow the instructions below to install and register the Virtual Wind Tunnel software.
1. Please read the License Agreement before opening the CD-ROM envelope.
2. Begin the installation as per the instructions inside the CD-ROM case.
3. A window will appear asking for the User Code. Type the Security Code shown above and press Enter.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
5. Complete the Registration Form.
6. After installing the CD, you must edit a file to activate the two-month Temporary Unlocking String.
a. Open the file named CONFIG in Windows Notepad. This file will be located on your hard drive in the following directory: phoenics/d_allpro/. If help is needed with opening files in Notepad, please visit the following link on the internet. http://www.denfordata.com/downloads/usa ... s/1010.pdf
b. Remove the second line in the file that starts with ID=: The second line should now be blank.
c. Insert the Temporary Unlocking String on the second line. Type the code EXACTLY as shown above.
d. Save the file in Notepad by clicking File on the menu bar then Save.
e. Exit Notepad when complete.
7. F1 VWT will run for two months on any PC. As soon as possible, obtain the hard disk Volume Serial Number on each computer running the software. The volume serial number can be obtained by typing VOL in an MS-DOS window. For example, ABC1-D234. Fax a copy of the Registration Form containing the Volume Serial Number(s) to CHAM. A Permanent Unlocking Code with instructions on how to enter it will be returned to you.
8. A PowerPoint Presentation named presentation.ppt is on the CD-ROM in the folder named “DOCUMENTATION”. Start PowerPoint, open this file, then select Slide Show > View Show. The tutorial complements the printed documentation.
9. Full PHOENICS 3.4 documentation is located in the DOCUMENTATION folder on the CD-ROM.
10. If you have any problems, please email CHAM at F1_vwt_help@cham.co.uk
