IBM software for RS 232 connection

Post by KIoannidis » Tue 01 Dec , 2009 22:27 pm

Hello, Everyone.
I'm a new user, and this is my first post in this forum.

I have a Denford orac lathe.
I would like to program using the RS 232 option, using the old IBM software, but I
have no hints as to the format that must be used.
I would appreciated any input from other users.
A simple sample program, showing this type of programming format would be a good start.

Regards

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

Hi - It's not something I'm familiar with, but there has been some previous discussion on the Orac and downloading programs, some of these posts quote programming examples which look to me like standard G code format...
