lathe cam registrattion disk or dongle ?

Post by audio.fi » Wed 15 Jul , 2009 18:51 pm

Hi,

I am new to cnc and have recently got a novamill and novaturn. Through previous posting on this forum, I have worked out that you can learn a simulate on some of the software without having a lathe or mill connected. The this end, I thought that I would try lathecam designer, as it is older software and might be more basic and easier to learn on.

I have built a computer and put win 98 se on it as xp won't seem to run the install at all !! However, when I try to install it, it asks for either a dongle or a registration floppy disk. What is a dongle, or where can I get a registration disk. If they have to be purchased, has anyone any idea if they are expensive.

Thanks.
