TU150E DOS Error Messages

Post by bradders » Thu 14 May , 2009 12:02 pm

Customer Writes.

We have some questions on our machine (Model TU150E; SN EO5299).

When we turn on the power, we see the following message on screen:
"CMOS checksum error - Defaults loaded"

I have pressed "F1" to skip it, and inserted a MS-DOS 6.22 floppy disc.

After stating & appearing A:/>, drawn out the MS-DOS 6.22 floppy disc & inserted an floppy disc (Disc A)
Disc A is containing ALL the files in "FanucMD for Triac".zip; "FLSTEP Software".zip; "DRIVERS2".zip.
As mention in Denford forum: viewtopic.php?t=1937&highlight=tu150e

I have run "FLSTEP.exe", & system said (Attachment: "Print_Screen_01.gif"):
"Denford FLSTEP programming (v1.47) 10 June 1998
Installing on floppy disc
Please put DRIVERS disc in disc driver: Press RETURN to continue..."

Question: I don't know what is "DRIVERS disc", How & where can I obtain this disc?

I have also tried "FanucMD.exe", & system said (Attachment: Print_Screen_02.gif"):
"Error <50> MINT controller disconnected"
"Error <128> Software aborted."

Question: Should I run "FLSTEP.exe" OR "FanucMD.exe"?
Question: I don't know how to continue installing the program for TU150E. Would you please kindly help? Is there any Menual for me?

I think the software is asking for the drivers disk becuase it can't find the GO file (FLSTEP.GO). If the GO file is missing it assumes the software is a new install and will copy the necessary files from the drivers disk then build the go file based on questions prompted to the user (which serial port etc)

Get the correct GO and OPT files for this machine serial number and it "Should Just Work "
