What is a Error 50 and 128 in Denford DOS software ?

What is a Error 50 and 128 in Denford DOS software ?

Error 50 refers to either.
1. The Machine tool DOS software is not communicating with the MINT controller.
2. The RS232 cable between the PC and Machine Tool is faulty or unplugged
3. The MINT control board is faulty

Once there is no communication between that PC and Machine tool the drivers for the VGA, Keyboard and RS232 etc are removed and you get the error 128 which means that the DOS software is not connected to the Machine tool

The symptoms above are usually characterise by an L with a flashing dot in the bottom left hand corner of the 7 segment display
