Hi,
I have a novamill running vr milling, but I dont have any software to write the code. Are there any programs that stand out as being good. I know denford's quickcam pro will prob be the answer but im a private individual so i dont think i can get hold of a copy. im happy to buy software if needed.

Private individuals can purchase Denford software.
Quickcam Pro can import, .STL, JPG, JPEG, BMP etc but you cannot draw / design in it, it converts the files to a G and M code program that will run on VR Milling that controls your machine.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.
There are also lots of possibly cheaper alternatives for the hobbyist. See the top post here for some names to start with: viewforum.php?f=60
